Footer Dimensions Depend on the Size of the Structure

A monolithic slab combines the slab and footing into a single pour, creating a seamless, sturdy base for your metal building.

For Structures 12’ Wide – 30’ Wide

Footers should be 12" wide and 12" deep.

18"

For Structures Wider Than 30’

Footers should be 18" wide and 12" deep.

These footers are required around the entire perimeter of the structure, wherever the base rail will sit. Ensuring proper dimensions for your footers is critical for the stability of your building.

Extend the Slab 4" Beyond the Base Rail
