Deluxe vs Standard Carport: Is 12-Gauge Framing Worth the Extra Cost in 2026?

Deluxe vs Standard Carport: Is 12-Gauge Framing Worth the Extra Cost in 2026?

The single most common question we get from first-time carport buyers: "Should I pay extra for the deluxe 12-gauge version, or is the standard 14-gauge enough?" The honest answer depends on your climate, your local building code, and how long you plan to own the metal carport. This guide walks through the exact price difference, the measurable performance gap between the two framing gauges, and the specific scenarios where paying 15-25% more for deluxe pays itself back within 3-5 years. By the end, you'll know whether the upgrade makes sense for your situation — not by rule-of-thumb, but by the actual math.

●  Quick Answer

  • Standard (14-gauge): Rated for 90-115 mph wind, 20 psf snow load, 10-year framing warranty. Right choice for mild climates with no permit requirements.
  • Deluxe (12-gauge): Rated for 140-170 mph wind, 40-50 psf snow load, 20-year framing warranty. Required by code in most hurricane and snow regions.
  • Price difference: Deluxe runs 15-25% more than standard. On a 20×26 carport: $2,795 standard vs $3,395 deluxe — a $600 premium.
  • When deluxe is worth it: Hurricane zones (coastal), snow country (Northeast, Great Lakes, Mountain West), permit-required areas requiring certified builds, long-term ownership (15+ years), horse/livestock use.
  • When standard works fine: Mild Southeast or interior South climates, no permit requirements, shorter-term use (under 10 years), budget-first buyers who accept the trade-offs.
  • The honest ROI math: In qualifying climates, the $600 deluxe upgrade saves $1,500-$8,000 over 10 years through insurance discounts, extended warranty coverage, and avoided replacement costs.

The 5-Minute Answer: When 12-Gauge Deluxe Is Worth It (And When It Isn't)

If you're short on time, here's the decision in one table:

Your SituationRight ChoiceWhy
Coastal hurricane zone (FL, LA Gulf, GA/SC/NC coast, TX Gulf)Deluxe (12-gauge)Required by code
Snow country (NY, PA, OH, MI, MN, WI, CO, NH, VT)Deluxe (12-gauge)Required by code
Mountain West (CO, UT, WY, MT, ID)Deluxe (12-gauge)Required by code
Tornado Alley (OK, KS, TX, NE)Deluxe (12-gauge)Dramatically better survival

What's Actually Different Between Standard and Deluxe Carports

The word "deluxe" sounds like marketing fluff, but at Bulldog Steel Structures (and most reputable builders) it refers to a specific, measurable spec upgrade. Here's what you actually get:

The 4 Standard Deluxe Upgrades

1. 12-gauge framing (0.1084" steel) — vs 14-gauge (0.0785") on standard. That's 38% thicker steel in every column, bow, and purlin.

2. Vertical roof panels — vs horizontal corrugated on standard. Vertical panels shed rain, snow, and debris far better and prevent oil-canning.

3. Hat channel reinforcement — horizontal braces every 48 inches between frame bows. Adds roof rigidity and prevents panel flex over 20+ years of thermal cycling.

4. Reinforced leg braces + longer anchors — every leg braced (not every other leg), concrete anchors on concrete pads, 32" mobile home anchors on asphalt, 48" rebar anchors on dirt.

What You Don't Get with Deluxe

A few things buyers sometimes assume deluxe includes but actually don't:

  • Different exterior appearance: Deluxe and standard look nearly identical from outside — the differences are structural, not cosmetic. The only visual tell is the vertical vs horizontal roof panel orientation.
  • Larger size options: Both tiers are custom-sized to your dimensions. Deluxe doesn't unlock larger sizes.
  • Different color options: Same 14 standard colors on both. Same two-tone options. Same premium architectural color upgrades.
  • Faster delivery: Lead time is identical — 3-6 weeks for most zones regardless of framing gauge.
  • Automatic enclosure: Both tiers start as open shelters. Enclosure (sides, doors, windows) is a separate upgrade applied to either framing tier.

12-Gauge vs 14-Gauge Framing: The Steel-Thickness Difference

Steel gauge is a counterintuitive measurement — the lower the number, the thicker the steel. Here's what each gauge actually measures:

SpecStandard (14-gauge)Deluxe (12-gauge)
Steel thickness0.0785 inches0.1084 inches (38% thicker)
Weight per linear foot~1.72 lb~2.38 lb (38% heavier)
Yield strength~55 ksi~55 ksi (same material)
Load capacity (vs standard)Baseline (1.0×)Roughly 1.6× standard
Corrosion resistanceThinner wall = faster rust-through if damagedThicker wall = 2-3x longer to rust through
Galvanized coatingSame G90 coating on bothSame G90 coating on both

What the Thickness Difference Means in Practice

The 38% thickness difference might not sound like much, but structural steel load capacity doesn't scale linearly with thickness — it scales roughly with the cube of thickness in bending applications. The net result: 12-gauge framing has approximately 1.6x the load capacity of 14-gauge in roof deflection, lateral wind resistance, and anchor pullout strength. That's why the wind ratings jump from 90-115 mph (standard) to 140-170 mph (deluxe), not just incrementally.

Price Comparison: Deluxe vs Standard Across Common Sizes

The deluxe premium is typically 15-25% of the base metal building prices. Here's what that looks like in dollars across the most-ordered carport sizes:

Carport SizeStandard PriceDeluxe PriceDeluxe Premium% Increase
12×21×6$1,595$2,095+$50031%
12×26×6$1,895$2,395+$50026%
20×21×7$2,595$3,195+$60023%
20×26×7$2,795$3,395+$60021%
24×26×8$3,495$4,195+$70020%
24×31×8$3,995$4,795+$80020%
30×41×9 (RV + car)$5,595$6,795+$1,20021%
30×51×10 (large RV)$6,995$8,195+$1,20017%
26×41×12 (semi truck)$6,695$7,995+$1,30019%

The deluxe premium stays relatively flat as a percentage of the base price (17-23% on most sizes), with the smallest sizes paying the highest percentage premium ($500 on a $1,595 base = 31%) because fixed engineering and material costs don't scale down to tiny sizes.

Wind Rating, Snow Load, and Warranty — The Three Numbers That Matter

Three numbers determine whether a carport will survive your climate and local code — wind rating, snow load capacity, and framing warranty length. The gap between standard and deluxe isn't incremental on any of these metrics.

Wind Rating (Measured in MPH)

  • Standard 14-gauge: 90-115 mph with standard anchors. 115 mph is the top end if you upgrade from mobile home anchors to concrete anchors.
  • Deluxe 12-gauge: 140-170 mph with concrete anchors. Up to 200 mph with hurricane strap kit upgrade in coastal zones.
  • Why it matters: Coastal counties typically require 140+ mph rating by code. Hurricane Ian (2022) peak winds were 150 mph. Hurricane Michael (2018) peak winds were 160 mph. Standard 14-gauge carports are destroyed by storms that leave deluxe builds standing.

Snow Load Capacity (Measured in PSF — Pounds per Square Foot)

  • Standard 14-gauge with regular roof: 20 psf — enough for 2-3 inches of wet snow or 4-6 inches of dry snow.
  • Deluxe 12-gauge with vertical roof: 40-50 psf — enough for 6-10 inches of wet snow or 12-20 inches of dry snow.
  • Why it matters: The entire northern US regularly exceeds 20 psf snow load during winter storms. Carport roofs that exceed their rated load deflect, buckle, or collapse. In snow country, standard is not an option.

Framing Warranty (Measured in Years)

  • Standard 14-gauge framing: 10-year warranty against structural defects and premature rust-through.
  • Deluxe 12-gauge framing: 20-year warranty — twice the covered life.
  • Why it matters: The warranty gap matters most for high-use applications: horse barns, livestock covers, commercial use, and any carport you plan to keep 15+ years. The $600-$1,200 upgrade premium pays itself back through extended warranty coverage alone, before factoring in any other benefit.

Climate Zones Where Deluxe Pays for Itself

The upgrade decision isn't about preference — it's about geography. Here are the exact US regions where deluxe pays itself back, and where standard works fine.

Required by Code: Deluxe Is Not Optional

  • Coastal hurricane zones: Florida (entire state), Louisiana Gulf, Texas Gulf Coast, Georgia coast, South Carolina coast, North Carolina Outer Banks. Local building codes require 140+ mph wind rating. Standard 14-gauge caps at 115 mph — rejected at permit review.
  • Heavy snow country: Upstate New York, Pennsylvania Appalachians, Michigan Upper Peninsula, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine. Snow load requirements exceed 20 psf — standard roof deflects or collapses.
  • Mountain West: Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho. Combination of 40+ psf snow loads and 100+ mph wind exposure. Requires 12-gauge framing + vertical roof.
  • Great Lakes snow belt: Lake-effect snow regions downwind of Lakes Erie, Ontario, Huron, Michigan, and Superior get 100-250 inches of annual snowfall. Standard spec can't handle it.

Strongly Recommended Though Not Always Required

  • Tornado Alley: Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, parts of Texas. No carport survives a direct EF-4 or EF-5 hit, but deluxe dramatically increases survival in near-miss and EF-1 to EF-3 scenarios.
  • Northeast and Mid-Atlantic transition zones: New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia. Mixed climates with both coastal exposure and occasional heavy snow. Deluxe is the safer long-term choice.
  • High-wind rural areas (regardless of state): Open prairie, exposed hilltops, flat farmland without windbreaks. Local wind exposure matters as much as state climate.

Standard Is Fine In These Zones

  • Southeast US: Georgia (interior), Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, North Carolina (interior), South Carolina (interior). Mild climate with occasional storms but no code requirement for deluxe.
  • Interior South: Arkansas, interior Louisiana, interior Texas. Dry climate with light snow and manageable wind.
  • Lower Midwest: Missouri, southern Illinois, Indiana, Ohio. Occasional severe weather but standard spec is code-compliant.
  • Desert Southwest: Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada (except elevated areas). Minimal snow, moderate wind, no code requirement for deluxe.

10-Year Cost Analysis: Buying the Right Spec Once vs Replacing

Here's the economics argument for deluxe that most buyers haven't done: compare the 10-year total cost of each option across a typical ownership period.

Scenario 1: Mild Climate (Southeast / Interior South)

20×26 carport, no permit required, mild climate with no severe weather events.

Cost ItemStandardDeluxe
Initial purchase$2,795$3,395
10-year maintenance (same for both)$200$200
10-year insurance discount (none in mild climate)$0$0
Expected replacement cost at year 15 (standard) vs 25+ (deluxe)$2,795 (replace year 15)$0 (still under warranty)
10-year total cost$2,995$3,595

In this scenario, standard is $600 cheaper over 10 years. Deluxe only pays back if you keep the carport 15+ years and factor in the delayed replacement.

Scenario 2: Hurricane Zone (Coastal)

Same 20×26 carport, coastal Florida, moderate hurricane exposure.

Cost ItemStandardDeluxe
Initial purchaseNot permitted — cannot buy$3,395
Alternative: cheap carport that fails first hurricane$2,795 + $2,795 replacement = $5,590—
Annual insurance savings (10% premium reduction)$0 (not qualifying)-$1,500 over 10 years
Projected damage from Category 1-2 hurricaneTotal loss, $2,795 replacementMinor damage, $200-$500 repair
10-year total cost (with 1 hurricane event)$5,590 + out of code$2,095 (net of insurance savings)

In hurricane zones, deluxe is dramatically cheaper over 10 years once you factor in insurance discounts and replacement costs after storm events. The math isn't close.

Scenario 3: Horse Barn Application

Same 20×26 carport used as a horse shelter. High-use application where any failure risks animal injury or hay/equipment loss.

FactorStandardDeluxe
20-year expected service lifeNo (10-year warranty)Yes (20-year warranty)
Panel oil-canning from thermal cycling (unsightly)Visible by year 5-8Prevented by hat channels
Insurance for livestock/equipment insideMay not qualifyQualifies for coverage
Resale value if property is soldDiscounted (basic spec)Full value (premium spec)

For horse barns and any high-value stored contents (classic cars, equipment, livestock), deluxe is virtually always worth the upgrade — the content value typically far exceeds the carport's upgrade premium.

Insurance Discount: The Hidden Deluxe ROI

Most buyers don't factor this into the deluxe calculation, but it's often the biggest financial benefit: metal buildings with 12-gauge framing and engineering documentation typically qualify for 10-30% premium discounts on homeowners or commercial insurance in hurricane zones, tornado zones, and snow country.

How the Insurance Math Works

  • Typical premium on a $5,000 carport added to homeowners policy: $150-$300 per year for comprehensive coverage (hail, wind, falling objects).
  • 10-30% discount on that premium with deluxe spec: $15-$90 per year savings.
  • Over 10 years: $150-$900 in insurance savings — often 25-150% of the deluxe upgrade premium recouped through insurance alone.

Which Carriers Give the Discount

The specific discount varies by carrier and region, but the following typically offer covered-structure or storm-resistant discounts: State Farm, Allstate, Farmers, USAA, Progressive, Nationwide, Travelers, and most regional carriers in coastal states. Call your carrier specifically — the discount is often not automatically applied, you have to ask and submit documentation (engineering drawings, wind rating certification).

Documentation Required for the Discount

  • Stamped engineering drawings: Included free with deluxe builds. Not included with standard.
  • Wind rating certification: Included on the stamped drawings.
  • Installation photos: Our crew provides at delivery, or you can take them yourself.
  • Manufacturer certification letter: We provide on request.

Permit Compliance: When Deluxe Isn't Optional

Some buyers assume they can get around deluxe requirements by "not pulling a permit." Here's why that strategy backfires:

  • Discovery during property sale: Unpermitted structures are flagged during real estate inspections. Buyers routinely require sellers to either permit retroactively (expensive and risky) or remove the structure before closing.
  • Insurance claim denial: If an uninsured, unpermitted structure fails and damages a neighbor's property, your homeowner's liability insurance may deny the claim. Potential 6-figure liability exposure.
  • Code enforcement complaints: Neighbors who dislike the structure can file complaints with the county, triggering a code inspection. Fines typically $500-$5,000 plus mandatory removal.
  • Mortgage refinance issues: Lenders doing property appraisals flag unpermitted structures. Can block refinancing or home equity loans.

Deluxe spec with its included engineering drawings makes permit filing straightforward. Standard builds may require you to hire a separate engineer ($800-$2,500) to produce stamped drawings for permit submission — which often eliminates the price gap between standard and deluxe.

Real-World Scenarios: What Would We Recommend?

Here are five common buyer profiles and the honest recommendation for each:

Scenario 1: Southeast US homeowner wants a 2-car carport for family vehicles

  • Climate: Mild to moderate, Southeast US
  • Use: Covered parking, 10-15 year expected ownership
  • Recommendation: Standard 14-gauge works. Save the $600 upgrade premium. No code benefit, no insurance discount available in this climate.

Scenario 2: Coastal Florida homeowner replacing hurricane-damaged carport

  • Climate: Coastal hurricane zone
  • Use: Replacing a carport destroyed by last year's hurricane
  • Recommendation: Deluxe 12-gauge is required by code and non-negotiable. The $600-$1,200 premium is the price of not losing another carport to the next storm. Insurance discount recoups the premium within 6-10 years.

Scenario 3: Oklahoma farm owner wants to cover a tractor and implements

  • Climate: Tornado Alley
  • Use: Agricultural equipment protection
  • Recommendation: Deluxe 12-gauge is strongly recommended but not legally required. Agricultural zones often skip permit requirements, so standard is technically allowed. However, the $600-$1,200 premium is cheap insurance against losing a $40,000-$80,000 tractor to a near-miss tornado.

Scenario 4: Minnesota homeowner wants a 3-car carport in snow country

  • Climate: Snow country, 40+ psf snow load required by code
  • Use: Covered parking for family vehicles
  • Recommendation: Deluxe 12-gauge with vertical roof is required by code. Standard 14-gauge with regular roof will be rejected at permit review (only rated for 20 psf snow load vs 40+ required). No decision to make — deluxe is the only option.

Scenario 5: Texas horse barn owner needs covered run-in shelter

  • Climate: Moderate wind, occasional severe storms
  • Use: Horse run-in shelter, 25+ year expected ownership
  • Recommendation: Deluxe 12-gauge is strongly recommended. 20-year warranty vs 10-year is critical for a long-term working building. Hat channels prevent oil-canning that becomes an eyesore by year 5-7 in high-use applications. Resale value is substantially higher with deluxe when the property eventually sells.

Frequently Asked Questions: Deluxe vs Standard Carports

What's the price difference between 12-gauge and 14-gauge carports?

The deluxe 12-gauge premium is typically 15-25% of the base building price. Specific examples: 12×21×6 carport is $1,595 standard vs $2,095 deluxe (+$500). 20×26×7 carport is $2,795 standard vs $3,395 deluxe (+$600). 24×31×8 carport is $3,995 standard vs $4,795 deluxe (+$800). 30×51 RV cover is $6,995 standard vs $8,195 deluxe (+$1,200). The premium stays roughly flat as a percentage of the base price across sizes.

What's the difference between a deluxe and standard metal carport?

Four specific upgrades: (1) 12-gauge framing (0.1084" steel) vs 14-gauge (0.0785") — 38% thicker. (2) Vertical roof panels vs horizontal corrugated — better rain and snow runoff. (3) Hat channel reinforcement every 48 inches — prevents roof oil-canning. (4) Reinforced leg braces at every leg (not every other) and longer anchors. The exterior appearance is nearly identical; the differences are structural. Wind rating jumps from 90-115 mph (standard) to 140-170 mph (deluxe). Snow load capacity jumps from 20 psf to 40-50 psf. Framing warranty doubles from 10 to 20 years.

Do I need 12-gauge framing for my carport?

You need 12-gauge in these cases: your county requires 140+ mph wind rating (most coastal counties), your region requires 30+ psf snow load (most northern US), you're installing an enclosed garage or workshop (most jurisdictions require 12-gauge for enclosed structures), you want insurance discounts in hurricane zones, or you need stamped engineering drawings for permit submission. You don't need 12-gauge for open residential carports in mild climates with no code requirements and shorter expected ownership.

How much stronger is 12-gauge framing than 14-gauge?

12-gauge steel is 38% thicker than 14-gauge (0.1084" vs 0.0785"), but structural load capacity doesn't scale linearly with thickness — it scales roughly with the cube of thickness in bending applications. Net result: 12-gauge framing has approximately 1.6x the load capacity of 14-gauge in roof deflection, lateral wind resistance, and anchor pullout strength. This is why wind ratings jump from 90-115 mph (standard) to 140-170 mph (deluxe) rather than incrementally improving.

Does a 12-gauge carport last longer than a 14-gauge carport?

Yes, substantially. Standard 14-gauge carports typically last 15-20 years in moderate climates with regular maintenance. Deluxe 12-gauge carports typically last 25-40 years in the same conditions. The thicker steel takes longer to rust through if the galvanized coating is damaged, resists stress fatigue from thermal cycling, and maintains structural integrity longer. The warranty reflects this: 10 years on standard vs 20 years on deluxe. For buyers planning 20+ years of ownership, deluxe is almost always worth the upgrade.

Will my insurance company give me a discount for a 12-gauge carport?

Often yes, especially in hurricane zones, tornado zones, and snow country. Most major carriers (State Farm, Allstate, Farmers, USAA, Progressive, Nationwide, Travelers) offer 10-30% premium discounts on covered structures that meet enhanced wind or snow ratings. The discount is not automatic — you must request it and submit documentation (stamped engineering drawings, wind rating certification). Deluxe builds include this documentation free. Call your carrier specifically to ask about covered-structure or storm-resistant discounts.

Can I upgrade my existing 14-gauge carport to 12-gauge?

No. Framing gauge is determined at manufacturing — the entire structural frame would need to be replaced to upgrade from 14-gauge to 12-gauge. If you have an existing standard carport that no longer meets your needs (climate change, upgraded regulations, insurance requirements), the practical path is removing the standard carport and installing a new deluxe one. Removal of the old standard carport typically costs $300-$800, and the new deluxe carport comes with free delivery and installation.

Is 12-gauge required for enclosed garages?

In most jurisdictions, yes. Enclosed metal buildings (fully enclosed garages, workshops, offices) typically require stamped engineering drawings for permit submission, which standard 14-gauge builds don't include by default. Additionally, enclosed structures with large roll-up doors (10×10 and larger) typically require 12-gauge framing to handle the structural loads around the door openings. For any enclosed metal building project, assume you'll need deluxe 12-gauge unless your specific jurisdiction confirms otherwise in writing.

Does 12-gauge framing look different from 14-gauge?

From the outside, no — they look nearly identical. The structural members (I-beams, columns, purlins) are the same shape and finish regardless of gauge. The only visual tell is the vertical vs horizontal roof panels: deluxe builds use vertical panels (that run from the ridge down to the eave), while standard builds use horizontal corrugated panels. Standing 10 feet away, most people can't tell which gauge framing is used. The differences are structural, not cosmetic.

What wind speed can a 12-gauge carport withstand?

Deluxe 12-gauge carports are rated for 140-170 mph wind with concrete anchors — covering Category 1 through Category 4 hurricane sustained winds and all EF-1 to EF-3 tornadoes. With hurricane strap upgrades in coastal zones, the rating extends to 180-200 mph. Standard 14-gauge carports are rated for 90-115 mph with standard anchors. Direct Category 5 hurricane or EF-4/EF-5 tornado hits destroy any residential or small commercial structure regardless of material — no carport is engineered for those extremes.

What snow load can a 12-gauge carport handle?

Deluxe 12-gauge carports with vertical roof are rated for 40-50 psf snow load — enough for 6-10 inches of wet snow or 12-20 inches of dry snow. Standard 14-gauge carports with regular roof are rated for 20 psf — enough for 2-3 inches of wet snow or 4-6 inches of dry snow. The entire northern US regularly exceeds 20 psf during winter storms, which is why deluxe is required by code throughout snow country. Mountain West regions sometimes require even higher ratings (60+ psf) with reinforced trusses — ask us about engineered upgrades for extreme snow loads.

Should I buy standard or deluxe if I only plan to keep the carport for 5-10 years?

Standard is typically the right choice for short-term ownership in mild climates. Deluxe's primary ROI mechanisms (extended warranty, insurance discounts over time, longer service life) require 10+ years to pay back the upgrade premium. If you're planning to sell the property within 5-10 years, standard spec is sufficient and the savings go to your bottom line. The exception: hurricane and snow zones where deluxe is required by code — you can't buy standard regardless of ownership timeline.

Does rent-to-own cost differ between standard and deluxe carports?

Yes, proportionally. Rent-to-own monthly payments scale with the total building price, so a deluxe carport has a higher monthly payment than a standard carport of the same size. For a 20×26 carport: standard runs about $115/month on a 60-month term, deluxe runs about $139/month on the same term. The $24/month difference reflects the $600 upgrade premium spread over 60 months. Both tiers qualify for the same rent-to-own program with no credit check, 24-60 month terms, and no prepayment penalty.

Hey folks - these people at Bulldog are real. Noah helped me all the way through - extremely patient and knowledgeable. He answers most often and when he doesn't it's easy to get another HUMAN to speak with. I looked at several companies for this project - I settled on the right one. If you wind up doing business with Brian - you're in luck there to. Outstanding work - worthy of trust.

I purchased a 26x32 Garage from Bulldog Steel Structures they had it finished in two days. It looks really nice and the install crew was great. I’m thinking of getting another building and I will definitely contact Bryan Valadez again at Bulldog.

Great experience from start to finish. The sales process was easy and Casey helped me revise my plans several times to get the right building for my needs. Communication was excellent! The build crew was on time, friendly and professional. Beto took the time to understand what cutouts I needed and why I needed them in the sizes planned. Exceptional work. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Bulldog has been great to work with. They explained everything from beginning to end. I live in the mountains of New Mexico and the staff made sure that my garage had the right support needed for this area of the country. I would highly recommend them for anyone building a new carport or gaeage!

Have had nothing but a positive experience with Bulldog! Bryan was super helpful and still is after our install! He still responds super prompt and helpful. No complaints about our structure, as it looks amazing! Installers did a great job and picked up very nicely after they were done. Highly recommend!!

I have now had my building in place for 3 months and I want to say that the whole team at Bulldog was very helpful throughout the entire process. My salesperson, Matthew, was extremely responsive. He was very helpful with the design phase, where we went back and forth with 3-4 different designs before settling on the perfect one. He always got back to me right away when I had a question. Although the delivery was delayed, understandable with the pandemic, he helped interface with Carolina Carports when I had delivery questions. So far I have no issues with the completed building. No leaks and all the doors are functioning perfectly. I would highly recommend using Bulldog for all your metal building needs.

Frank Rangel was very helpful and respectful. Also very understanding. I was pouring a concrete driveway and trying to put my down payment down. I may of got a little frustrated in the middle of it all. I could see the smile on Frank`s face the whole time! Thank you sir!

This is my second building from bulldog and I`m buying the same building , just different colors. They are great buildings that are strong and economical.

Put up a RV cover for me on a concrete pad. Turned out great and the guys cleaned up after the work. Very satisfied. Would recommend these people.

I love my “She Shop.” It was amazingly easy. I sent an email, made 2 phones calls and it was done. The installation went even easier. Three guys showed up one day and finished the next. They were polite and cleaned up after themselves. My husband’s friends are all very impressed with the construction and materials used but were amazed at the reasonable price. I could not be more pleased. Thank you

I visited their website and used the 3D estimator and was able to see my building with doors, window placements, colors, and overall look. When you add or change any feature, including size, you can immediately see the result and change in price (if any). You can rotate the structure to see the overall look and framework. Once I placed my order, it was quickly and efficiently handled and the cost was lower than the estimate on the website The installers showed up early one morning and by noon the next day they had completed the structure. Everyone that comes by remarks on how nice it looks. I am very pleased with every aspect from ordering to installation.
